Being a Christian is more than just attending church - it’s about becoming more like Christ! We provide worship services, community Bible studies, prayer requests and online study opportunities to help you develop a lasting relationship with God.
The church of Christ is not a building that people meet in. It is the family of God. No matter what your religious background is, you’ll find our group to be a place of authenticity, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of bringing Christ to a world that desperately needs his light.
Our worship is guided by a simple desire: to honor God by following the pattern we find in the New Testament. We strive to conduct our services in a reverent, orderly, and scriptural way.
The Lord’s Supper
Each Lord’s Day, we gather around the Lord’s Table to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Following the example of the early church in Acts 20:7, we partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine in remembrance of Him, just as Jesus commanded in Luke 22:19–20: “Do this in remembrance of Me.” This time is central to our worship and focuses our hearts on Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
A Cappella Singing
In our worship, we sing praises to God without instrumental accompaniment. Our singing is congregational, encouraging every member to participate. We follow the instruction found in Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16 to “sing and make melody in your heart to the Lord,” teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
Leadership in Worship
In keeping with passages such as 1 Corinthians 14:40 (“Let all things be done decently and in order”) and 1 Timothy 2:12, the men of the congregation lead the public portions of our worship service. Qualified men serve in roles such as leading prayers, reading Scripture, preaching, and presiding at the Lord’s Table. We believe this reflects the biblical pattern for leadership within the assembled church (1 Corinthians 14:33–35).
We believe the journey to becoming a Christian begins with a decision to earnestly seek God and have your sins washed away by being baptized into Christ. Baptism involves a full immersion in water, and the signature decision to make Jesus Lord.
Biblical faith is much more than just believing that God exists. It means earnestly seeking him and putting him first in your life.
We believe that God gives us His Word as a standard, and we are committed to holding to the Scriptures as they were originally taught. God also gives us the Bible as a spiritual mirror. We try not to point fingers at other people, but use the Scriptures to look at ourselves first.
We believe in maturing one another in Christ. This involves a commitment to strict spiritual training, discipleship and loving each other as Christ has loved us.
True faithfulness means much more than just going to the right church with the right name on the door. It means becoming more like Christ. Like Jesus, we believe that God gave us the Scriptures not just as a book to be read, but as something to be lived out.
We believe that the most important thing that Jesus ever taught was to teach people to love God with everything they have. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. We believe that the whole world will know that we are Jesus’ disciples if we love one another.
